Bio-food suppliers – you’ll find anywhere?
Two types of bio-food suppliers who can be identified: in the farm being in the family, and large enterprises to a larger market segment. Small businesses have the support of local and regional communities and, in general, the necessary elements for the neighborhood. People in the countryside will be the first to the products of local organic food suppliers. Eggs, dairy products, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables are the most readily available item. But most bio-food products that are not there.
The truth is that the concept of bio-food suppliers is a bit fuzzy, and it may in different ways depending on the context. I.e.: both manufacturers and distributors are suppliers of organic food, which sell their products. For example, consumers have supply contracts with large companies and suppliers, organic food, which are not producers, but between department stores and on farms. The direct management with hypermarkets, in general, falls within the territory of having a powerful name in the industry.
Firm size is another criterion for classification of organic food suppliers. Therefore, we can determine the suppliers of organic foods in smaller stores, typically owned by a family, the average organic farm retailers and wholesalers. Enterprises, intermediate products for a limited number of products most often in middle of the group, but the market is dominated by wholesalers. They offer the lowest prices on the best terms of purchase on the market only if you buy in bulk. For example, you receive a discount if you book a few hundred not a dozen eggs.
Pricing and business relationships between the bio-food suppliers have a direct impact on buyers, either in quality or costs. It is one thing, buying organic tomatoes, from a nearby farm and quite another thing for organic tomatoes, which had traveled several hundred miles, before going on your table. That is the problem with the provider of online organic food because the distance limit the scope of the delivery or distribution, and hence reduce the number of customers
