Infertility in Couples
It is said that a woman or a man is infertile if no conception has occurred after a year of sexual intercourse without using a contraceptive method. Infertility is a very common problem for couples today. Not to be confused with sterility, this is the total and permanent disability of not conceiving.
Infertility in women may be due to many factors and, fortunately, many are curable. The important thing is to correctly identify the cause that produces it.
The main factor of infertility in women is age. After 35 years of the female reproductive tract is becoming less fertile. Other causes of female infertility are malformations or infections in the uterus or cervix, obstruction of the fallopian tubes, lack of ovulation or irregular ovulation, polycystic ovarian and other factors such as obesity, diabetes, and snuff the alcohol.
Infertility in humans may be due to age or other conditions such as varicocele, oligospermia, low sperm or sperm morphology.
If after a year’s attempt is not successful pregnancy, a medical evaluation being conducted to both partners, which consists of several reviews and evaluations.
Depending on the outcome of the tests were treated in men, in women, or both.
